Avon has been a driver in microenterprise for more than a century. Today, Avon Representatives collectively earn approximately $6 billion each year and serve 300 million women in more than 100 countries.

For as little as $10 down, a new Representative receives information and materials to begin a successful business selling Avon’s products, including the first shipment of products on credit. Representatives do not pay Avon until they are paid by their customers. To this end, we entrust over $1 billion in products and credit to Representatives at any given time during the year. This process enables many women, who otherwise might not have access to credit, to pursue their personal financial goals. Our business model, built upon unwavering confidence in our Representatives, makes Avon a leader in the direct selling market. We strive to foster strong, trusting relationships with our Representatives to ensure that our business remains profitable and our customers remain satisfied. 

We encourage our Representatives to Prospect and Appoint new Representatives, and then Train and Develop them to sell successfully. Our series of PATD resources—informational booklets complete with sales guidance, goal and incentive programs, personal checklists, inspiring testimonials and useful product information—gives Representatives the opportunity to improve their sales and leadership skills, as well as the build the skills of the Representatives they lead in their "downline." The PATD program not only helps us remain in touch with the Representatives; it also helps Representatives work effectively and realize their full potential, while offering a level of consistency to the Representative experience and resources worldwide.
