The Avon Foundation recognizes its responsibility to support and enrich the communities
where Avon associates live and work. The Foundation has established a range of programs
that uphold this responsibility, continue the tradition of giving at Avon, and encourage
associates to participate in philanthropy and community service.
- Matching Gifts Program: The company matches associate donations two-to-one for
the first $500 and dollar-for-dollar for donations up to $15,000
- Employee Volunteer Program: Avon promotes employee volunteerism, whether individual
or team-based, one-time or ongoing, and local management organizes special volunteer
opportunities at Avon facilities worldwide and during key management meetings, including the construction of a playground during the most recent World Wide Management Conference.
- Scholarships: Numerous scholarships are available to children of Avon associates,
Representatives, and select family members. Awards as large as $20,000 are offered
to those eligible. Since the first $400 scholarship in 1955, Avon has awarded more than
5,500 scholarships totaling $11 million.
